Al-Tayyar Shows up in Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2010

 

Al-Tayyar Travel Group participated in Arabian Travel Market for the year 2010 at Dubai International Center for conferences and exhibits, more than 40 services offered in Al-Tayyar partitions at the suite of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities. 20 members of Al-Tayyar top management, executives and sales managers, all came from different parts of the world where Al-Tayyar exits to attend this great event as well as to present the diversified services related to travel, tours, cargo, etc.

 

Dr. Nasser Al-Tayyar – Vice Chairman & Managing Director – affirmed the importance for Al-Tayyar to participate in Arabian Travel Market 2010 in order to be in touch with all current development and advancement in travel market on regional and international levels.

 

He added: “Such an event enriches us with a good experience in travel industry, since we look at it as a big opportunity that must be seized and well utilized to promote our services and specialized programs as well as to enhance our presence in this Arabian Travel Market and to move forward with the latest developments and changes occurring in the tourism sector. As a result, every time we participate in this exhibition, we get big opportunities as well as our business horizons expand and improve which enable us to move forward in the process of sustainable development.”

Also, the company participates, in this exhibition, along with two of its most important partners in the sector, namely « Felix Airways» Company and « Nile Air» Company which was recently adopted by the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority as an Egyptian national carrier, which will start its regular flights within the coming three months.

 

This participation is considered the most famous and prominent for the group in this event, in addition that it has started participating since 8 years, which reflects the keenness of «Al Tayyar Group» to achieve its vision of making an accurate image of the market courses in order to provide the best and most developed services which meet the needs of the Arab travelers.

 

Moreover, «Al Tayyar Travel Group» has more than 500 strategic agents and partners worldwide. And it owns general agencies in the field of air freight for six international airlines, as well as agencies for eleven international airlines. In addition, the group deals with more than 67 international airlines and it owns 107 sites authorized by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) widespread in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the sake of providing reservation services and travel tickets.

Prince Sultan Bin Salman Honors Al-Tayyar for Sponsoring Travel Forum, Visitors Appreciate Group’s Participation.

 

President of the General Authority For Tourism and Antiquities His Royal Highness Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz honored Al-Tayyar Travel Group for its sponsoring to the Saudi Travel and Tourist Investment Forum 2010. In a ceremony held on the sidelines of the Forum His Highness the President of the Authority handed a Certificate of Thanks to Ustaz Fahad Bin Abdullah Al-Baz the Vice President for the Group's Business Development on behalf of the Group's President and Managing Director Dr. Nasser Bin Aqeel Al-Tayyar for the Group's participation as the Gold Sponsor of the Forum.

His Highness expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the companies and entities that contributed in supporting and sponsoring this Forum. ATG Deputy Chairman and Managing Director Dr. Nasser Al-Tayyar commented saying: "Sponsor of the Group to the Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Forum 2010 comes as extension to its sponsor to the previous forums – Allah' Willing the coming as well – emphasizing that this sponsor comes in the framework of backing local industry of conferences and exhibitions, particularly which concerned with inbound tourism and travel sectors.

Among the events accompanying the forum, ATG's Vice President for Administrative Affairs and Human Resources Mr. Muhamad Al-Jarallah Al-Shamari delivered a speech on behalf of the Group's Deputy Chairman and Managing Director Dr. Nasser Bin Aqeel Al-Tayyar, on which he has conveyed a number of recommendations to the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities, such as urging operating companies in travel and tourism to set an overall study for these companies, and he said that Al-Tayyar Group has concluded a contract with an International Consultancy Group specializing in developing organizational strategies in order to apply the best practices. In response to a question about training of Saudis in private sectors, Mr. Al-Shamari replied by saying that training is coming at the first place, there are support programs not only with Human Resources Development Fund but the company also will bear half the total amounts of support which will continue for a period of 13 months, Saudis are often trained within the Group, note that real production of them commence after a duration not less than one year.

 

In contrast, exit of any employee means a production loss equivalent to what the Group has to pay for the employee around the year and the half. In respect of the question about the extent to which the Group has benefited of the Saudi Arabian Airlines experience of Saudization, Al-Shamari replies that Saudi Airlines started in early stages over years with strong governmental support, furthermore the Saudi Airlines completely different from the sector of travel and tourism agencies. He pointed out that Al-Tayyar has established an academy which is cooperating with others institutes in addition to Saudi Arabian Airlines to train the Group's staff, there is an ongoing cooperation in this regard. It is noteworthy that a wide range of major companies which specialized in travel, tourism and hospitality participated on the Forum in which new packages of high-quality products and services are offered, emphasizing ATG's leading position within the Saudi market.
